The EFDC+ Explorer Modeling System 12 has now been released. Some of the new features include a module for GOTM (General Ocean Turbulence Model), and support for Navigation Locks, Algae Vertical Migration, Geographic Coordinates, Macrophyte Hydrodynamic Feedback, 3TL Timestep Adjustment and much more. DSI are providing support to the Alabama Power Company for one of their real-time modeling systems. This work will improve the reliability of the system and reduce the need for future manual intervention.
